Executive Editor of MIT Technology Review, Rafael Coimbra worked for 23 years at TV Globo as a special reporter, presenter, and technology commentator. During this time, he created and hosted the column ‘Future: How to Use’ and the program ‘Hub Globonews’, besides pioneering the use of digital resources for multimedia content production. Coimbra is also a professor of the MBA in Marketing and Digital Business Intelligence and the MBA in Digital Transformation, both at FGV, as well as the executive director of TEC Institute. A graduate of PUC-RJ in Journalism, he also holds a master’s degree in Production Engineering from PEP/Coppe UFRJ, a postgraduate degree in Conjuncture Analysis from UFRJ, and an MBA in Digital Marketing from FGV. The world’s first TV journalist to complete the Executive Program at Singularity University (a joint venture of Google and NASA) and author of the book ‘Digital Brain’.
