Luciana Aparecida da Costa holds a degree in economics from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and a master’s degree in Finance from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in São Paulo and the University of Chicago in the USA. Before joining BNDES, Luciana spent over 25 years in the private financial sector, working at banks such as BankBoston, Citibank, ABN AMRO Real, Standard Bank, and most recently at Natixis (Groupe BPCE), where she served as the president of its subsidiary in Brazil. Since March 2023, Luciana has been the Director of Infrastructure, Energy Transition, and Climate Change.
