Lilian Matt is an experienced professional in innovation and business process management. He stood out as Co-Champion in the MIT REAP Rio de Janeiro Project, leading the Rio team technically and methodologically. She coordinated the technical team of Rio to improve the accuracy and the quality of the MIT REAP deliverables. Currently, as national Champion of Focus Brazil, she is leading the movement to structure and connect Brazilian ecosystems for Brazil’s application for the MIT REAP Focus Program. Her role in the ecosystem will be a senior technical coordination and integration of all regional teams, to improve the accuracy of the MIT REAP Focus Brazil deliverables.

She was Adjunct Professor at Industrial Engineering Department at Polytechnic School of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, playing an important role in academic training. Researcher at COPPE the Technological, Organizational and Services Innovation Lab – LabrInTOS/COPPE – Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering of UFRJ, supporting collaboration and evaluation of R&D projects to innovation ecosystems development in Rio de Janeiro. PhD student in industrial engineering at COPPE, interested in studying innovation process management, specially innovation ecosystems applied to system dynamics thinking. Master in computing and bachelor of computer science by UFRJ, expert in business process management.

In addition, she is board staff member of COPPE, assisting in the structuring for monitoring R&D projects and initiatives to promote entrepreneurship, corporate science engagement and development of innovation culture in the academic environment
