Auana Mattar is the CIO of TIM Brasil, leading the Information Technology organization, with a focus on accelerating the company’s continuous technological evolution, building the Next Generation Telco. 
She has held various leadership positions at TIM in recent years, experiencing three startups and integrating five operations (M&As), the most recent being the acquisition of Oi in 2022. She was responsible for defining and executing the digital acceleration strategy in TIM’s technology, leading major technological transformation projects as CIO since October 2019, including: Journey to Cloud – with TIM being the first LATAM operator to migrate 100% of its Data Centers to the cloud; Restructuring the entire tech organization – creating the DevQASecOps Towers; Adopting and scaling agile methodologies in the company – transforming the relationship between IT and business. She also worked in Marketing for four years, leading the Consumer CRM organization throughout Brazil. As an IT leader, Auana is responsible for guiding her team in building capabilities and transforming processes, people, and technologies that bring TIM’s innovative experiences to life for its customers and employees, also supporting the creation of new business lines and partnerships, working alongside the Telco and Open Innovation partner ecosystem. 
In 2022, the executive was named Women in Tech LATAM in the ID&E Disruptors category, being recognized as the technology woman who made the most innovative and bold move to change the status quo. 
Graduated in Data Processing (FACE-FUMEC) and Post-Graduated in Strategic Information Management (UFMG), she has training in New Ventures Leadership from MIT, High Performance Skills from the London Business School, and an MBA from UFRJ-Coppead.
