Lafranque has played a pivotal role in advancing EDF’s green hydrogen projects in Brazil, including signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the governments of Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte. These partnerships aim to bolster the production of green hydrogen and integrate renewable energy solutions like offshore wind into Brazil’s energy landscape.Before joining EDF Renewables, Lafranque had a significant career in the energy sector, contributing to various innovative projects that emphasize sustainability and renewable energy advancements. Her work focuses on navigating regulatory challenges and fostering collaborations with local stakeholders to promote sustainable energy practices in Brazil.In her current capacity, she oversees projects aimed at creating hybrid energy solutions that combine offshore wind power with green hydrogen production, positioning EDF Renewables as a leader in Brazil’s transition to cleaner energy sources.
