Maiza Goulart currently leads as the Executive Manager at the Petrobras Research Center – CENPES, guiding a dynamic team on over nine hundred research and development projects. She began her impressive tenure at Petrobras in 2003 and has since ascended through various leadership roles, significantly influencing the company’s operational and engineering strategies. Maiza’s academic foundation is equally notable; she earned her Master’s in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, complemented by an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, and further studies at the Kellogg School of Management. Her commitment extends beyond her professional work, as she also contributes as an executive manager and adjunct director at the Brazilian Society of Naval Engineering (SOBENA).
