Julio Azevedo is a lawyer with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Vice President at Invest.Rio, the agency responsible for the economic development of the city of Rio de Janeiro, with a primary focus on attracting investments, simplifying the business environment, and promoting innovation. He leads strategic projects such as the Hub Porto Maravalley, the Maravalley District, and the Green Exchange. Additionally, he was part of the Rio de Janeiro team for the MIT REAP – Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program.
