José Luis Gordon is the Director of Productive Development, Innovation, and Foreign Trade at BNDES. With a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a PhD in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Gordon has a career marked by leadership in innovation and industrial development initiatives. He has previously served as Director of Planning and Management at EMBRAPII, Executive Secretary of the Brazilian Development Association (ABDE), and President of EMBRAPII. Since January 2023, he has held his current position at BNDES, where he focuses on promoting policies that encourage innovation and productive development in Brazil.
