Gilberto Peralta built an impressive career at General Electric spanning nearly four decades, starting as a process engineer and rising to top executive roles. After retiring from GE in 2018, he continued to influence the aviation industry by taking on significant board roles. In 2020, Peralta was appointed President of Airbus Group for Brazil, marking a notable transition in his career to lead one of the foremost companies in aerospace. In this role, he focuses on strengthening Airbus’s operations and partnerships within Brazil, leveraging his deep expertise in engineering and business leadership. Peralta’s educational background includes degrees in Civil and Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of Petrópolis, complemented by extensive management training at GE University.
