Celebrating the Innovation Driving the Future of Energy

Launched in 2024 during the first edition of the Energy Summit—Brazil’s largest event focused on energy transformation, sustainability, and innovation, held in partnership with MIT—the Energy Summit Awards were created to recognize the key players driving the future of the energy sector.

In its inaugural edition, the awards honored companies and projects that made their mark on the year, such as Petrobras, the Copel Ventures fund, the startup Pixforce, and the Libra 4.0 Consortium—a collaborative initiative between Petrobras, Shell Brasil, TotalEnergies, CNPC Brasil, CNOOC International, PPSA, and Halliburton, focused on research and development in the pre-salt layer.

Now, the Energy Summit Awards is gearing up for the 2025 edition, which will take place June 24–26 at Cidade das Artes in Rio de Janeiro. With new categories, greater recognition, and even more impact, the awards promise to highlight the most transformative initiatives in Brazil’s energy sector.
