An award with global standards

The Energy Summit Awards is a recognition platform that celebrates excellence, innovation, and real impact in the energy sector.

Inspired by leading international awards, the process for selecting the Awards’ finalists involves partnerships with key industry institutions and is evaluated by a panel of independent experts.

These include: ANP, ANEEL, ABME, ABCVC, ANPEI, CNI, Sistema B, 100 Open Startups, and Motor 1.

The Awards also draw on the methodology of MIT Reap, a global MIT program that brings together the five key players in sectoral ecosystems: Companies, Startups, Investment Funds, Research, and Governments. Composed of rigorous criteria closely aligned with the Summit’s purpose, the Energy Summit Awards assess both the finalists’ impact on the sector and their interaction with other ecosystem stakeholders.

From a practical standpoint, the Energy Summit Awards bring recognition and visibility to those who are actively driving, impacting, and creating real energy transformation.

The finalists in the main categories are evaluated based on two key criteria:

Impact and Results
Evaluates concrete results, scalability, and measurable impact on the sector, including innovation, technology, and the solution’s unique value proposition.

Interaction with the Ecosystem
Evaluates the formation of partnerships and joint projects with other players in the energy sector, measuring results, synergy, and the scalability of solutions.

The special categories of the Awards are evaluated based on specific criteria:

Sustainability (ESG)
Evaluates the initiative’s contribution to reducing environmental impact, social impact, and corporate governance practices

Mobility

Evaluates initiatives adopted to minimize environmental impacts and implement innovative and sustainable practices in the mobility sector

Women in Energy (Women Leaders)

Evaluates the results generated, leadership, interaction, and influence exerted by the candidate in the energy sector.

Global Award (World-Class)

This is a special award granted by the Energy Summit Board that evaluates the degree of innovation in world-class companies or initiatives whose performance, impact, disruption, and visibility represent the highest standard in the global energy sector. All winners from the other award categories are eligible for this category.
