Dame Fiona E. Murray is the William Porter (1967) Professor of Entrepreneurship and Associate Dean for Innovation and Inclusion at MIT Sloan. She co-directs the MIT Innovation Initiative and serves as Faculty Director of the Legatum Center. Murray’s work focuses on the transformation of science and technology investments into innovation, particularly within deep-tech startups. Additionally, she holds is a board member of the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), where she contributes to the strategic direction and oversight of investments in innovative technologies. Murray has been recognized with a CBE for her contributions to innovation and entrepreneurship and is actively involved in advising on international policy related to science and technology’s impact on global challenges.
