Adam Goldsmith has served as the U.S. Treasury’s Attaché to South America since July 2023. Prior to his current role he had a 7-year career at Treasury, most recently serving as Deputy Director for the Western Hemisphere in Treasury’s Office of International Affairs. Before attending graduate school and moving to the public sector, Mr. Goldsmith had a 9-year career trading oil derivates at two different hedge funds in New York and London. Mr. Goldsmith has a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from Cornell University College of Engineering and a Master’s of International Affairs from Columbia University.
