Leonardo Euler de Morais is the Vice President of Institutional and Government Relations for Latin America at Vestas, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wind turbines. Before joining Vestas, Morais had a significant career at the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) in Brazil, where he served from 2006 to 2021, including as the agency’s president from 2018 to 2021. During his tenure, he led major initiatives such as the 5G auction in Brazil and the modernization of the regulatory framework for the telecommunications sector.Morais holds a degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Brasília, where he also served as a professor. At Vestas, he is responsible for engaging with governments and regulators across Latin America, aiming to create a business environment that supports sustainable development and the energy transition in the region.
